IBS School (www.ibs-school.com)  trains you to become a fraud examiner qualified to investigate and identify occurrences of fraud and other white collar crimes, such as commercial bribery and insider trading.

Numerous professionals (such as accountants, lawyers, criminologists, law enforcement officers and auditors) elect to take fraud examiner training and then become certified eventually. Fraud examiners investigate through examining financial evidence and talking to relevant parties, write conclusive reports and act as expert witnesses in court. They also help prevent future cases of fraud.
Certificates:
IBS School offers four fraud related certificates:
  • Certificate 1- Financial Fraud - Learn the types of fraudulent financial transactions incurred in accounting records. This training covers these concepts: basic accounting and auditing theory, fraud schemes, internal controls to deter fraud and other auditing and accounting matters.
  • Certificate 2- Fraud Law - Learn the many legal ramifications of conducting fraud examinations, including criminal and civil law, rules of evidence, rights of the accused and accuser and expert witness matters.
  • Certificate 3- Fraud Investigation - Learn concepts in the following areas: interviewing, taking statements, obtaining information from public records, tracing illicit transactions, evaluating deception and report writing.
  • Certificate 4- Fraud Prevention and Deterrence - learn why people commit fraud and what can be done to prevent it. Topics cover crime causation, white-collar crime, occupational fraud, fraud prevention, fraud risk assessment, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE®) Code of Professional Ethics.
 Completion of all the four certificates above will help you sit for the Certified Fraud Examiner®  (CFE®) administered by the American Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE®).

Our training classes are offered over 5 weeks for each certificate: 10 sessions of 3 hours each during the week days evenings from 6 to 9 pm or 5 week-ends (Saturdays or Sundays) from 9 am to 12 and 1 to 5 pm.

The IBS Audit certificates are live and instructor-led. They provide a basis for the academic and professional development of individuals with an interest in the Finance and Risk fields. The program provides leading edge skills in the area and creates awareness of the need for financial analysts and Risk managers, and their place in any organization.

You can choose one or all of the following certificates to develop your skills and increase your expertise in Finance:

Certificate 1 – Financial Analysis

For those interested in mastering some of the tools used to assess financial information and associated risks, such as quantitative analysis, valuation, financial statements analysis, ratio analysis, budgeting, Financial reporting and corporate finance;

Certificate 2 – Risk Management

For people looking to develop their quantitative skills and pursue a career applying quantitative methods to investment and risk management problems. This certificate provides an excellent preparation for the Financial Risk Manager® (FRM®) certification;

Certificate 3 – Investment  

For professionals interested in investment banking, venture capital, portfolio management, derivatives, private equity or corporate restructuring and turnarounds. This certificate will help you pursue a career in security analysis and portfolio management.

Completion of all the three certificates above will help you get started on the preparation of prestigious certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) and the Financial Risk Manager® (FRM®) certifications. However, other requirements will still apply.
